Hi there,

I have been experimenting with a friend using UHF radios and we have so far managed to have some success with Motorola CP040's and GP300's that we have purchased. I decided however to take a bit of a step to something more sophisticated and just this morning I have purchased a set of 6 motorola mt6000e's. I am very much looking forward to receiving them however I now have the dilemma of not being able to find software like I have done in the past for the other radios or being able to find a reprogramming cable.

I stumbled across the forum topic and have noticed that there are some fantastically kind people helping with such issues and so I ask kindly of these people if they could help me now.

Thank you

Fin

Hello to you all !

I have just purchased a mt6000e on Ebay which was supposed to be on 70cms amateur frequencies.

Problem I have is that I cannot get into my local repeater (GB3ME) due to the radio not sending any ctcss.

So I would appreciate any info zas to where I can obtain the programming software.

If anyone can help it would be most appreciated.

73's

Olly.

Hello,

Sorry to revive an old thread! I have just been asked by someone to program some MT6000e radios for them. I have programmed some HT600E radios, so I am familiar with how the Motorola software works.

I was wondering if anyone could help me with finding a copy of the MT6000e software? I have been unable to source it. The radios in question are MASC encrypted radios, so is there a specific version of the software to work with them? The encryption is not going to be on Amateur (Ham) frequencies, I just wanted to know whether there is a different software version needed. Also, does anyone know whether it's OK to use the encryption on PMR446 licence free frequencies? Of the small amount of information I have found, people said it was OK, but I thought I'd double check if anyone knows.

There also seems to be some confusion over the GP900 99 Channel software. Some people say that it will program MT6000e radios, and some people say it is different, so it won't work.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Jack.
