Hello from Yorkshire

Post by AndyDCD »

Evening folk, new to here.
Hamming it mostly on 2m, take part in UKAC when the weather allows, do a bit of SOTA. Some HF, I get my arm twisted to do HF contesting occasionally.
A bit of PMR446 DXing, and do the odd restoration of ancient kit just to keep my skills honed.
Some 11m/CB gear ancient and modern, FT817, FT450D, FT950, FT2900 and a collection of handhelds.
Current work gets me all over the UK mainland, occasionally with overnight stays, where I can find that the portable kit has "accidentally" found its way into the works vehicle.

If the problen cant be sorted with a "LUMP-HAMMER" then its most likely to be an Electrical fault

Welcome to the forum. Occasionally do the UKAC contests myself, more to just give points away than play the game that is, but who knows, might get you in the log one day.
