hi all .........i was given a Nooelec v5 dongle has a gift and now im dippin a toe into sdr world

thanks for the welcome .... ive just got the standard three short antennas atm that came with the dongle seem to pick some frequencies up but will get better one soon

hi again .......so im hooked think ive found me a new hobby lol....... ive spent the last week flickin through the frequencies and frazzled my brain at one stage lol but ive managed to picked up a few signals enjoyed the pocsag stuff but strugling to pick up much else .....is there anything that i can do / buy to just make it better im looking at new antennas but is there anything else i should be using to boost singnal or somthing ....i ony using the bog standard nooelec smartee dongle and one of the telescopic antenna that came with it
