Kidderminster c.b radio shop which also sells airguns and related is also now in the process of closing down retiring.
Never used it much and shop moved from its original store around the corner.interestingly his base antenna silver rod still flies high above the roof line on old shop lol.
Hopefully be their decades to come.

I've been there a couple of times as an old mate of mine moved from Northfield in Birmingham, to 200yds around the corner from that shop. He had a decent display of aerials fitted along the shelving from memory, although only a couple of radios.

There was a shop that sold both Ham and CB stuff around Darnall in Sheffield. I bought a silver rod from there. The guy who ran it was active in the local ham club but didn't mind catering to CBers.

Here in Newport (South Wales) There were originally 3 shops:

* Breakerway - Pill - run by Gary (Green Flash) - Closed (moved to Duckpool Road and became a video rental business)

* R&D Antenna - Maindee - Run by Rubber Duck (Chan ?) - Closed (from memory the tiny shop remains unoccupied to this day)

* Rigsbys - Beechwood - run by Will (Skydiver) - Closed - now a hair and nail place if memory serves ?

Up towards Caerphilly was "triple C's" who remained open for some time but they moved premises
whilst seeming to carry more truck stuff than CB stuff. I heard rumours that they had shut up shop
but there are still references to them online so maybe that wasn't true ?

Regards

Was that the CB shack at j19 M5? If so, it closed quite a few years back. I bought my used 80's Shogun UK radio from there.

of late I only hear maybe 3 or 4 bristol regulars on 27/81 chan 19. theres a few on "nets" at different times of the day , but I reckon if I took my shoes and socks off, I could count the number of bristol breakers still on air daily !
