Programming UK CB Frequencies Uniden UBC125XLT

Post by mrmab »

Hi All,
So I am trying to input the UK CB Frequencies into my scanner.
e.g.
1 27.60125 21 27.80125
2 27.61125 22 27.81125

Using ARC 125 defaults them to

0027.6000 Channel 1 UK NFM 2
0027.6100 Channel 2 UK NFM 2

Is this correct?

Regards,

Those frequencies are correct but be aware that the scanner will change them.

Using Scan125 we find:

0027.6000
0027.6100
0027.8000
0027.8100

I don't know what ACR125 does but Scan125 does:

Your enter CB1, Scan125 initially sets 27.60125, sends to scanner, scanner changes to 27.6000, Scan125 does a verification readback and changes your entry to 27.6000.

Scan125 supports frequency prefixes so you don't have to enter a specific frequency.

Some Supported prefixs are:

CBUKnn
CBEUnn
CBUSnn
MAnn (marine channels)
ABnn.nnnn (air band correction)

Airband correction is special in that the frequency / channel called by ATC and on airport frequency lists ARE NOT always the frequency that is actually used by the radio equipment.
