Semi decent solid state 10/11m amplifier

Post by cb4ever104 »

Hi All .

I know this may be a subject of great contention , but where are we currently with 10/11m solid state amplifiers. I'm using a BV135 at the moment , but I have to reduce the o/p power of most of my radios so as not to damage it. I'd like a 100/150W amp that will accept a 10W AM / 20W SSB input as standard.

I'm assuming that it'll need to be one of the RMXXX thingies , but I just wanted to get some of your thoughts before taking the plunge.

Replace r2 and r3 with higher (proper) value and no need to buy another amp.

Yeah . That's too much . Think they're about 600 Euros here . And I don't need that much power . Really looking for something around the 100/150W mark , which will accept a 10W FM / 20W SSB input .
