JD custom sx1 info
Yes I’m aware some will have an opinion I’m not interested in that.
Question is did anyone ever manage to write up an alignment procedure for the 23 trimmers? The radio is working and pretty close frequency wise

Yeah. There's no alignment info on that thread. Good luck to anyone who actually manages to write one !

Is this the recent ebay one perchance?
I did look at it myself for a minute (certainly not at the BIN price lol) but thought the sticker looked a bit iffy around the switches for my liking. Interesting radio, but I wouldn't know how to use it!

Re: JD custom sx1 info
I have a JD Customs radio here. A MK1 Cobra 148 GTL-DX which has been expanded to cover 10 blocks of 40 channels (9 bands plus UK40). I'm guessing it's an earlier version just as the Jentec's progressed in capability/appearance. Sadly the TX audio on SSB is a bit ropey. Another job on the "to do" list when time permits.
Never, ever, ever....bloody anything ever!
Far too many radio's to list here. But I do own a legal one...

Kind of. I think the Crystal is a bit low
I can tune the zeros and the 100hz steps from 1-9
But on a .189 I can’t tune it no matter what I do with the
Overall etc etc. One way can’t tune zero other way can’t tune 100hz .009 and zero
I have added a decent heatsink and some rf shielding
To try and stop the frequency jumping when setting
Up

Blimey, I'm glad I stick to Amstrad's and Fidelity's!
Well let's hope you get it sorted eh? If you need a hand with anything in it....just don't call me!
