Yeah, it does look quite "chromy" so as long as you're not going to be knocking it about, it'd certainly help hide/mask any green or cream plastic bits showing through. It looks slightly better than the chrome sprays that I've used and dabbed on anyway, so it's handy to know that it's available.
So long as people with dodgy flaking surrounds don't start using it willy-nilly and not telling prospective buyers when they sell their newly-chromed radios on ebay, it'll help to rejuvinate an otherwise tatty-looking radio.
