PA is useful. I had tube speaker under a hood to rush lazy pedestrians. Together with siren generator worked miracles.
Ch9 button also very welcome. You could use it for another function without drilling holes in radio.
Roger beep is useless, but on the other hand t is great to **** other users.

Delta tune. Might have been useful for chatting to illegal AM/FM sets back in the day on a CB 27/81 but not much use now.

The DFB function on Dirland superstar 3900's. It just makes the incoming audio unreadable.

There is no such thing as a Fidelity 1000 which is too good to scrap.

The clear/normal switch on the likes of the Rotel 240 was deemed useless by most, but it could clean up audio in the distance and gave it a touch more treble.

The channel selector on a Fidelity 1000. Why bother??? ;)

Apart from when tracking people down, the RF Gain knob was never used by me. It ought to have been called something different anyway, like RF deminisher or something!

Mic' gain knob...again, a deminisher/reducer. Never used unless perhaps the power-mic' you had was faulty and stuck on full :)

Back in a day, when we had over 50 antennas on 1 square km power reduce was important. I mod many cb radios to have power cut even to 50mW.

RF Gain was good for reducing blocking / bleedover, But like you must left it turned up full.

NB/ANL (Most CBs have circuits that are completely useless)
SWR/CAL (I never used it myself)

You're luck in that case, as any I have here are next to useless.

Yeah, I know what it was supposed to do, but like I said, next to useless. I never had any issues in cars as it happened, mainly because I always ran my power leads directly from the battery. I do remember my next door neighbour having an Austin Princess and every single time he started it up, my radio went bonkers with ignition noise. I ended up using one of those line filters to help.
