This info may be handy to know for some, just in case - thanks.

I won't be taking the cases off mine and having a twiddle myself though (for obvious reasons ;) ), but if I ever sold it on at some point, having the info may benefit the new owner. My wife'll probably just chuck it in the skip when I snuff it lol.

For now though, it'll just sit there looking pretty amongst the few other SSB radios that I have.
Post it anyway useful for other cybernets too

Ok the coarse tune you’ll need a 50k pot and a 10k trimmer
Remove original 10k front panel pot put in spares bin
Fit a 50k pot to front panel.
Find on the screen side of board next to the right of tuning adjusters at front of board it’s marked “TU”
Run a wire to the middle (wiper) of 50k pot (you may need to add a resistor if too much slide)
One side to ground
One side to permanent 9v

Next get 10k trimmer and find the blue/white 8v wire which was the other end of original 10k pot and put it on middle (wiper) of the trimmer.
One side to ground
Other side solder to where the 10k blue/white wire was and will still be one side of original 8v feed to the mode switch

You can then adjust your tx frequency with coarse tune at 12o clock then adjust the 10k for rx.

——-

Fm power regulator

Remove mode switch and flip it over
There’s a yellow then white/red then a link to an orange wire
Cut the link to the orange move the white\red to the orange
Then link the yellow to where the white/red came off.
The other side of the orange has a link DONT remove that side of link.

——-

Ssb mod is just the r159 resistor change to about 3.9k

Think that’s it all at your own risk.

And props to nick also.
