YJT UV-8F Handheld Two Way Radio Review - "Close Call Features"

Post by Transmission1 »

Paul (paulears) was kind enough to lend me a YJT UV-8F so I made a little video of it working on 446.

The radio looks like a standard Baofeng but has a special feature - it can be programmed by placing an unknown simplex radio near to it and giving a burst of RF. This radio senses the frequency and CTCSS tone in use and can then store this information like the Uniden Bearcat scanners with the Close Call Functionality.
