Its been nearly 2 months don't think its gonna happen now, There is other people waiting also, This forum was recommended to me but so far think I've been let down from day one.

anfgremlin76, here's what I would do, if you have very carefully checked the list and found an unclaimed number and requested it, and just like santa you checked it twice, then as you're a fully paid up TM1 member, then why not use that number on air in the interim to weety's rubber stamp coming down? If anyone asks then just tell 'em I said it was okay.

Tbh Weety is getting a bit long in the tooth to be moderating a forum, he's probably forgotten his password or something.

A few years ago when the forum was really busy weety logged in everyday, Now that its not as busy as it used to be he doesn't log in as much as he used to. Although its not like him to be absent for this long, Probably due to family commitments etc, Theres more to life than this place.

Craig hasn't logged on since the end of August. This could be for any number of reasons, but hopefully nothing serious and we must wish him the best for whatever's going on.

I'm currently on my own taking care of the site. But as a mod I don't have the authority to assign call signs to new members. Patience is the key folks. I'm sure Craig will make it a priority upon his return.

Things are pretty quiet on here at the moment. No riots or unpleasantness. Only admins can add new moderators. There are a few mods still listed but rarely active. I'm sure that if Craig or Simon deem it necessary they'll add extra mods as and when.

Sadly, forums like this and the others I use for different subjects all are having the same experience. Forums, apparently, are old fashioned and the younger people find them dull and boring. Therefore traffic is dropping, and many forum software builders start to include more trendy features in updates that annoy older users, so that drives them away, and the circle begins. The mods drift away too as their job gets more dull, sorting duplicates, typos and unpleasant stuff. The forums often drift into certain areas that lose more members who are not interested and the circle completes and the forum does. Very sad.
