Can anyone recommend any programming software for the AR5000 which will run on windows 10

There is none - the receiver is so old that all the software for it on the market is 16 bit .

16 bit compatibility was provided by NTVDM.EXE which is no longer available in the 64 bit release of 10.

Windows 10 32 bit <<did>> run some AOR 16 bit apps but the 20H2 upgrade completely
broke it for mine.

I ended up building a stand alone "old radio" PC - Win 7 32 bit - once I got it built and patched
(windows certificates nightmares) it runs everything

Apps still out there:

ARC for AOR5000
AR5K
Scancat Gold (claims only works on XP - not even vista)
