With the Yaesu FT-857D long gone in discontinuation, where does that leave us with a mobile rig which gives us more than the 5 watts from the likes of the 817?
I see Icom do one, but at the price of my FT-991. I wonder if Yaesu are working on another one? But hopefully closer to the price that the 857 was.
I wonder why the 857 was discontinued? Not very popular? Issues?
