Re: Warrington 455.750
I've found 440.225, 455.775, 453.9875, 445.6125, 455.750, also 456.975 (a warehouse or distribution centre, but which, there are loads around here) all on DMR, on 456.400 on NFM which is possibly a shopwatch in St Helens

You still haven't yet said which scanner you have. Some have continuous from 25 to 1300 mhz, some have gaps.

Re: Warrington 455.750
Exact same text posted by someone else on another bulletin board......
'carlos' using an R5 but can determine that a dmr freq is a warehouse or distribution centre?
He can listen to paging data and say it's an 'airport'?
Anyone else find this rather suspect?
"Search engine? How do I find that?"
"Sod it, let someone else do it"

Re: Warrington 455.750
Ah thanks mate I had an SDR unfortunately I didn’t get around to sorting it before laptop went south! Is an SDR worth it now? I will be replacing laptop it. I was the setup for the SDR that was the issue for me….. but given time I could set up

SDR sticks are sill worth it. Cheaper than a scanner too.

Re: Warrington 455.750
Can you recommend a laptop you can fit in an inside pocket?
There is nothing on a database for 455.750 in Warrington or a 10 mile radius at least and when I'm there nothing shows up. 456.400 is the Ravenhead retail park security in Widnes. 455.6125 is down as a factory, a shopwatch in Runcorn (never heard it) or a factory. It's also a taxi company in Blackpool with a repeater on Winter Hill so covers a massive area. 455.775 is Amazon. 456.975 could be a number of things. 453.9875 is a common frequncy it could be Halton Hospital if you are hearing it on DMR or Wigan shops and pubs if on NFM.
440.225 could be Chester Zoo, a Heinz factory or something associated with Manchester airport
I can confirm some of the above and the rest through radioreferenceuk
