The pass mark is 60% or 27 out of 45

Well done mate.
My friend has now got his 2W0 callsign and we're going to get a 2m/70cms set up for us both to have a natter.
My advice is to crack straight on with the Advanced course, It took me two attempts to finally pass that, the second attempt I passed it by only one mark.
good luck

Re: Intermediate Exam pass mark?
Thanks All,
My "Advance! The full licence manual" has arrived ready for the course starting later this month. A quick flick through looks like I'll need the Ham Radio Gods on my side, jeebus!

Re: Intermediate Exam pass mark?
I did my full earlier this year - and it is indeed 'full' licence, not "advanced". The RSGB chipwrapper is called "Advance!" (Not even advanced), but there is no such thing as an advanced hamateur licenced.MW0SWA wrote: ↑10 Oct 2018, 19:57 Well done mate.

Re: Intermediate Exam pass mark?
Well, I was notified of my Full / Advanced exam pass in the post yesterday (took the exam a couple of Sundays ago at my local club)
I'm well chuffed, Intermediate to Advanced in 4 months!
It was definately worth carrying on straight after the Intermediate.
I found the exam difficult but not completely overwhelming.
If you're thinking about doing it, go for it. Remember, you still only need to get 60%
Before the Intermediate I had no knowledge of electronic circuits or components at all. I still feel by no means an electronics expert (far from it in fact) but I must have absorbed enough of the info to pass.
