Re: warrington shop/pub watch no more
They are still using the icon radios or so I've been told but they have had a digital chip put into them
Is it not possible to buy the exact radio, programme it in and buy one of the chips that fit in and then listen in

I have no idea what you're talking about my friend, DMR is DMR, same as FM is FM, so if they're not encrypted then you can get them on any DMR radio that covers their frequency or use the cheap and cheerful SDR method.dang wrote:They are still using the icon radios or so I've been told but they have had a digital chip put into them

Re: warrington shop/pub watch no more
If that's true (and I assume you mean Icom not Icon) then it's not DMR/MotoTRBO, but NXDN4800. This page my help with identification: http://www.w2sjw.com/radio_sounds.htmldang wrote:They are still using the icon radios or so I've been told but they have had a digital chip put into them

Even if it is NXDN and not DMR, the solution at post 2 is still your best bet.
