Frequency 455.700???

Hi All i have picked up this frequency fairly strong today, i am in the wallsend area. The frequency seems to made up of a lot of beeps like it is waiting for someone to talk. Anyone got any ideas

I too am getting it, I heard voices on it before, but I was in the other room and missed it. I am not far from you, so will keep my ears peeled :-)

I heard some TV talkback on 455.312.5 earlier - probably due to this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-27828283 The two could be related?

PS, now it is digital on that frequency with bursts of data.

I listened all night last night with no more voices, just data bursts. I surmise this is probably a taxi firm or similar.

this freq is seven stories in Newcastle upon tyne have herd it a few times
