The amount of times I've heard CW on 11m I can count on one hand to be honest.
Historically (well, in the UK anyway) most 11m SSB users liked the notion of DX-ing and working foreign lands but disliked the idea of sitting the Class A ham radio test where you had to pass CW at 'x' words per minute.
This changed when they abolished the CW requirement and brought in the three tier licence system as we know it today.

I'm sure I have a microphone somewhere, but....
As above. used it a lot on the ham bands, but not heard it on 11m for decades. Can't see it catching on in 2013 with other efficient 'band piercing' modes like PSK31 etc around.
