Well done, me and my friend both got 100%. Now considering doing the intermediate in september.

At least now you can get using those radios you have on the amateur bands!

:D well done indeed I now realize that I must have that full licence even if it takes me several attempts to pass it .I have had a fantastic break down here in France and I really hope that next year I can operate hf from this location .Parking down next to the sea and just listening you fully appreciate why its worth the effort gaining a licence.
I could hear everything from west Canada to New Zealand and talking to these guys would have been really easy .This is a great location though and I think the only place I can compare it to in the UK is Wigtown bay
in sw Scotland which is also characterized by its salt marshes

:D Perfect places to operate radio eh and now rather than waiting for an opening on 11 metres you will be able to find a band on hf that's open

:D Welcome to ham radio I hope you have as much fun with it as I do

Good job and stick to your plan about doing the full call, its very rewarding.

Its difficult to beat a vertical by the sea. Just make sure that all your QSO's last at least 10 minutes.

Tidied ;-)

As you know amateur radio has many facets and now you can begin to discover them for yourself. It is still a good feeling getting your pass - regardless of level or class etc. When I got my G7 I was suitably chuffed too. Now go enjoy the hobby and try for yourself as much as you can:-)

Best way. Do it whilst you're head is still in learning mode.
