does anybody know sometimes when i switch it on there is no channel or frequency read out and sometimes its ok this is happening more often than not the orange light is ok.

This happend to me once or twice, believe it or not it was caused by a short in the microphone wiring. What I noticed is that the display would lock up and the LCD characters would flash at the rate of 1 flash per second. I guess this is some kind of diagnostic feature built into the CPU to indicate an error condition.

Don't know if yours was the same problem though?

mine doesnt flash ive checked the mic its ok it happens with mic in or out its either ok or theres nothing or all the letters and nos are on is there a way to reset it' thanks
