I've moved a long way from my CB 'hometown', so I have no way of knowing, but I suppose a good few must have left us by now.

I'm sure that if all those good CB & Ham ops had been around today to see legalisation of AM/SSB transmissions on CB they would have loved it!! RIP.

Bill [Blackbird 2] passed away last night at the age of 99, Often found chatting on channel 27 most evenings, Even at 99 still lived at his own home and would still go to the shops each morning for his bread and milk etc.
He would have turned 100 feb or march i forget which
R.I.P Bill.

26-TM-044 – Alan (Silversurfer), Kent, Passed away last week aged 82.
Alan was one of the nicest and kindest gents I knew, he was only here at this qth earlier in the year for a visit.
RIP Alan... sorely missed
Would the TM staff be kind enough to amend the Tango Mike members list to Silent Key for Alan... many thanks.

Rip Piper PM17 from Stratford upon avon . I heard about his demise the other day and I have been meaning to write this since
Pete was a real character back in the early 1980s on CB and among other things collected radios . He was my friend and he was only 50 YO such a young age to go
If I think about it I can still remember his distinctive voice it just does not seem possible that he has gone
Rip Pete one day we will meet again

R.I.P Lt Pidgeon ( Ian ) well known in these parts for his eccentricities.
Passed away in November. Lost his battle with the big C.
All his radio gear ( and there's shed's loads ) will be sold soon to help his 80+year old mum.
But i can't post/sell for others on this site.

^What he said^,sadly Ian's mum passed away recently aswell, but at least his radio gear is still going to be used and his memory will still live on,especially on air,and all the money raised will help his remaining family at this sad time.SgtBilko302 wrote:R.I.P Lt Pidgeon ( Ian ) well known in these parts for his eccentricities.

A sad day.... I've just found out a local breaker, handle Ever ready first personal Bernard from Deal in Kent has sadly passed away.
My thoughts and prayers are with his Family and Friend.
I have many happy memories of chats with Burnard going back more than 10 years. He will be sadly missed by many breakers he knew over the years.
RIP Bernard "Ever Ready"
