Helicopter Freq's

Does anyone know the frequency for the air ambulance? and also i was told that you can still listen to the police helicopter, i was told that the helicopter being aviation can't change their frequencies to digital if so does any one know the freq?

The police chopper will still be on analogue but that will be for stuff like when they need clearence to leave an airport or go into a certain air boundry and get permission.
I doubt there will be any police activity on it but you never know.

I also would like to know the freq of mid wales air ambo if anyone else had an idea.

Yes you can still pick up the police helicopters on the aviation frequencies, but any none aviation stuff is on Tetra. so you will just hear usual aviation requests to Approach freqs.

The only one I can Confirm for certain being the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Although I haven't heard anything there for a while.

I have heard 169.0875 Fm Aberystwyth Air Ambulance Air Ground Ch9 Mainscheme a few times now but I think its taxu rather than air ambo.

I will put those welsh freq's in and the national ones if I havnt got them already.

so will the great north air ambulance be on the Common Air Ambulance frequencies?
