That's a nice looking radio.

Apart from the colours, the face reminds me of a Colt 720DX

My Tristar 790DX is a similar radio with built-in linear, but only 3 bands. I'm pretty sure it's PTBM125 too.

Don't know why , but those radios with the "built in" linears scare the s**t out of me . Every time I key the mic I get the feeling that it's going to explode or something

Quite agree on this, my TriStar 790 and a jumbo that I own have never been expanded.

Got to throw my Cybernet-boarded Cobra 148 GTL-DX into the mix then as I've only been able to find a couple pictured on the internet, a Youtube video or two and another one owned by a member on here.

Bigpimp has a Major 5000 radio that's probably the rarest of the rare Cybernet-boarded radios. I've only ever seen that one and I'm jealous as I missed out on the bidding for it as I was on holiday at the time!

Yeah I remember the 2x Isle of Man Nato 2400's about 15-20 years ago. I wonder what happened to them as I've never heard mention of them again? It'd be nice to see them on Youtube or on a forum.

I had a picture/s of the ebay auction/s but lost it/them when my hard drive went and I couldn't retrieve any data from my CB stuff. I can't remember if they were in the same auction or two seperate auctions now but I think the auction hit £200, even back then. Nowadays they'd possibly hit a grand!

Regarding Mark's Major 5000, it's the ONLY one I've seen, making it rarer than the Nato's so far! ;)

I've got a couple of radios myself that I've never seen or heard another of like the "Spirit 40fm", but I'm not sure if they're Cybernet-boarded so I can't count them.
