Was that the 2000 FM with the really worn knobs? I saw that but thought it was too ropey to bid on. You can be happy that I don't like Cybernet homebases eitherbigpimp347 wrote: one just sold on ebay for £55....i was outbid, thought i had it in the bag...!!!!

934 ???
it's the old expensive CB band..20 channels (some rigs can do 40ch for the future expansion that never happened)
about 5w or 8w all used base aerials, mostly beams and very very line of sight.
if you was on 934 in the day, you was either very old and rich, or a radio amateur and rich, or just rich..!!

........or stupid !!!
I bought a Delta new in 1986 and it cost me £350, which was over a fortnights salary at the time!!!
934 depended on where you were. I was on high ground with good line of sight and I had contacts over 50 miles away on 6 watts (on a co-linier not a beam), where as my Major 3000 was managing about 12 miles on 4 watts and about 30 miles on a 25 watt burner.
Still got my 934 rigs, 2 of which are 40 channel.

What is the board number in the Osaka? I have seen them before but not had the pleasure of owning one.

There is no such thing as a Fidelity 1000 which is too good to scrap.

If it's definitely a Uniden chassis, then what's it doing on a Cybernet-based topic. Get it off! Lol
