thanks for your help my equiptment so far is realastic dx-394 and uniden ubc785xlt but i want to get a hand scanner im thinking of either icom ic r2 or r5 or Yaesu VR120D,YAESU VR500 wot do u think of these i want a small 1 i can put in my pocket

I like my UBC 3500XLT, it's small, has all the necessary toys like close call and tones notification, and once you learn how to programme it, it's a breeze to locate new finds in the right place, if you are like me and have a dedicated system for frequencies I find that need identified.
