London Needs a SDR stream

Post by LondonCbRadio »

Can someone over looking London setup a web SDR please ? I came across one in Hornchurch Essex the man must have the antenna on the floor because it's useless. Why bother setting one up only to have a crap antenna system ? Using silly little loops etc.

Instead of criticising someone else who's actually done it how about you go find and fund a decent site and set up a webSDR we can all enjoy?
my friend grafter, seems like you are using a very offensive tone in the reply.

I tried to set one up but didn't get the help needed. It would be over looking most of London. Just saying no point in setting one up when the antenna is on the floor.

This would be very useful. One of my neighbors is being a smart ass by running some sort of blocker preventing me from hearing incoming stations so listening on a local websdr would be ideal.

It always comes on around 10 every night when I got the CB on.

Sounds like something on a timer ? How many hours is it on for a time ?

Possibly... I've been keeping a log of when it occurs. Times can vary slightly normally happens around 9pm / 10pm and will go on for the rest of the night. I monitored it until 2am and went to bed but my guess is that what ever device it is gets left on for the entire night until early morning.

It could be any neighbor but I have my suspicions of who it might be.
