Nevada Radio, Portsmouth

Post by Hair Bear »

As above, are they still there?
Website shows Portsmouth phone number but address is Woburn Sands, Bedfordshire. Any ideas?

There was a merger, last year I think, Nevada radio, W & S, Moonraker & Sharman apparently.
The perfect face for radio.

It's a shame, but I am surprised that they carried on as long as they did. Radio is a niche hobby these days and there are lots of suppliers chasing not many customers.

Well, the photo is Portsmouth but the ebay location is still Woburn.
There was 4x4cb.com in Dorking but that seems to have gone as well.

Nevada radio, W & S & Sharman are now all owned and run by Moonraker near Milton Keynes, the companies have kept their original phone numbers and depending which one rings determins under what name it is answered.. The downsize is Moonraker is just a reseller and boxshifter with no technical backup, the only lot with a decent workshop is Lynchie, but if there is no competion or little call for technical backup this may change..
