Hi

I am on the look out for UHF fm1000s.

I help at a museum which restores buses and the fleet radios on a lot of the Glasgow ones were trunked fm1000s. Obviously these are no use now, but look the part in the restoration.

I recently swapped in 2 UHF ones and swapped modified the heads to look correct. I had the receive programmed on the PMR446 frequencies so that the buses could listen in on the museums net, so that some radio traffic was heard. It also meant we could use it for reversing buses around.

Obviously transmit was disabled.

This has proved immensely popular and the owners of the other buses that had radios are looking for the same!

So I am on the hunt for 6 working UHF FM1000s... (some Storno 600s or just control heads too!)

Anyone got anything available?

Regards

Today i measured 4M FM1100 vcc voltage from the boards and there is too much resistance in boards and wires.

PSU was set at 15v and i measured 12.9v in full power from amplifier module.

I think i need to solder few wires to board and test again.
