MIDLAND 747B-BOSTER?

Can anyone please give me any infomation on a midland 747b burner,what the output is on fm/sideband.

just googled it and a couple of sites are stating it does 100 watts am/fm and 200 watts ssb.

warlock i have not seen one for years but the ones i have seen were the same as the cte 747, use 4x ms1307 mosfets making around 100w max fm or ssb with 10w input, they are not biased for ssb use and sound crap on ssb like any class c amplifier, a much better choice would be the rm-kl203 which are biased for ssb make a little more power and sound ok.

I totally agree with that. Mine's been excellent, and it doesn't get overly hot either. I think it's the mosfet tranny that makes it perform so well. ;)

Had one a few years back. It was good. It's sold under a few names. Mine finally blew up though... whereas the RM stuff tends not to. ;)

Bit late for a reply to this thread but the 747 has the RM 203 board inside 😂
