Cheers Sammy I will do.

I do have another here but the on/off click doesn't work.

I seem to remember (I think it was Nick) was able to repair them using the on/off switch from a Maxon radio.

I have a couple of those in bits in the loft, so if that's possible it would be a cost free fix.

I used to open the switch and clean the contacts up a bit, bit fiddly but better than 26+ quid.

PJ Box used to do them for 15 but they are out of stock.

I will certainly have a go at ficing as nothing to lose.

The on/off volume part does look pretty much the same as the on/off volume on a maxon, only it isn't stacked witht he squelch.

I am sure that I can work out a way to seperate them if it is possible.

I would rather not buy from PJBox...

The part arrived today. I think it would have been here sooner but Royal mail have been really slow this week.

That was pretty quick for a part ordered from china.

I will probably get to fit it tomorrow and hopefully everything will be good.

It is now all working thanks Sammy. I haven't had chance to give it much of a blast though as everytime I put it on theskip seems pretty weak.
