mk1 jumbo

Post by Samalex »

I have acquired what I believe to be a Mk1 Ham International Jumbo with handles and box but no poly inserts.
Some initial findings
Lights up and noise is present but disappears after so long with extension speaker
Missing speaker inside
Speaker wire yellow is off FROM PHONE SOCKET?
Capacitor needs replacing on PTPW007COX board looks like top is expanding
3 holes on front not sure why they done it that way looks like some weird mods
hole in rear
cable from rear with 8.9v out
Bulbs replaced at some stage
Some mods been done and removed but may still have things left
VCO core looks like its been turned so will need re-aligned

I cant be bothered fixing up at present so what would you do?
I don't know what its worth as is so would you sell or be better selling as bits or swapping or keep till i find time to fix.

the handles seem to go for crazy prices i seem to remember.

I have too many projects and not enough time :)
