Knocked up a EFHW for £12 quid using 64 Feet of cheapo speaker wire.
Heres the reults.
40m = 860 khz bandwidth - 1.0 SWR
20M = 930 khz bandwidth - 1.3 SWR
15M = 2.330 khz bandwidth - 1.1 SWR
10M = 3000 khz bandwidth - 1.2 SWR
Also tunes up on 6m with a ATU.
No bad

That's very good bandwidth. I need to check the bandwidth of my DX Commander, I know it's quite narrow for some of the bands, especially 10M.

Yeah very happy with it, I used an FT-140-43 Toroid which should be good for around 50 watts, If you want to run more power you'll need a couple of stacked FT-240-43 Toroids. Mine also covers 11m with a tuner.
