Thats just it i hardly know anything, There are others on here [who i wont mention just incase they feel embarrassed too] who have forgotten more than i will ever know, Dont get me wrong it was a little amusing at first maybe a little flattering, But now its just a bit too much.
Hope you understand.
Thanks
Nick
I know what you mean Nick. I have have met engineers/technicians that could be described as geniuses, but they had no patience, no customer skills, did weird mods that the user couldn't understand just because they thought it was good craic. One for example is known for chucking screws away because he sees them as useless. This is no joke, this is a true story!!
Obviously technical skill and knowledge is important, but so is patience and mindfulness of why they are repairing radio and serving the customer's needs.
Cheers

I throw away screws too. Generally as they have been hacked up by some moron with the wrong size/type of screwdriver. I buy them by the hundred on fleabay. As I think nothing looks worse than a rig with chawed up/rusty screws in it. But thats just me, I take pride in attention to detail. No mallace was intended to Nick at all. Just a bit of fun. But he has pointed out it was embarassing him, so it will no longer happen...

The gentleman I'm referring to chucks screws away for no another reason that he doesn't like them and see's them as unimportant. He's very well known in the ROI
