That has a control number, I've noticed those early 1977 (ish) radios don't follow the later format.
I have 3 radios with a control number - made in Taiwan - and they all start with 30. The serial number starts TK.

Yeah , I've had a couple of those as well through the years .

Still , I don't think I've seen another ADAMS that was made in Japan .

Just wondering if Uniden made any other radios in Japan around that time ?
