AnyTone AT-5555 Reprograming

Post by quarc123 »

Hi All,
I have AnyTone AT-5555, radio is by default set on frequency 28.0 to 29.7 MHz, I would like to reprogram it to work on around 27 MHz (range in my country - Croatia).
Os I plug radio to PC, installed software, press "Read from radio" and got current radio setup:

After that dont know how to continue, I assume that I need to change default fervency, than screen looks like these:

I have list of Croatian channels (40 of them), but when I write them and click "Write to radio", I got message: "Frequency band type wrong."

Can somebody provide any help? Is there any tutorial with setup or .dat file with frequencies I could just upload to radio?

PS
I am total noob when it comes to these stuff, just trying to fix these radio for my old man.
Regards!

Anytone AT-5555 & Clones V6 10M / CB Changeover.
By Brian, MW0GKX

You may find that your V6 won't program with the frequencies you want.
This is probably because it is set to either CB Band mode or 10M Band mode.
To change from CB to 10M or 10M to CB is easy: buttons

With the radio OFF press and hold the [FUNC] and [EMG S/RF] buttons (ringed right) and switch the radio ON.

Release the [FUNC] and [EMG S/RF] buttons, the radio should display either:
display (10M)
or:
display (CB).

Rotate the CHANNEL SELECTOR to select the required band.

When the desired band is shown on display, press and hold the [FUNC] button. The display will show:
display
KEEP THE [FUNC] BUTTON PRESSED! After a short while the display will change to:
display

Release the [FUNC] button.
