Well I do know that part of North London where I live has always been a bit dodgy area for years not only for funny postal addresses either so it's no surprise  :D

Just seen their name inside this "Jentec"

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234598897140

Is this one of the ones that they copied , or did they just do the beeps ?

They made Hygain beeps like that. I think they copied the Tonks version. I don't know how to tell which Mk.Vs they made and which are Jentecs. I think I've been told that a couple of forum members made some more about 10 years ago too.. I was also told that the lack of availability / price of the TS50S encoders that were used put an end to the re-manufacture.

He's still on eBay selling things like a bog standard TIP42C as a Cobra 148 GTL-DX Jentec TIP42C for £5.50 including postage. Meanwhile, elsewhere on eBay, you can get the same part for £1.59 including shipping - shipped from the UK. If you buy from Mouser they're 88p (inc VAT).

A legend in his own laundrette that guy. Alex and his imaginary "technicians". Denied making Jentec's but had images of them dremmeling a Jentec into existence on their website. Always made me chuckle that.
Never, ever, ever....bloody anything ever!

Far too many radio's to list here. But I do own a legal one...

He and RadiotraderIreland should go into business together.

What would they call the new business? ;)
