Driving in France

Post by jeff261159 »

I have an EU/EC/UK/F and all other EU countries compatible (switchable) radio in my truck and spend most f my time driving around France.
Which channel is the listening channel in France? on F > or is it best left EU/EC ?

Any help our guidance would be appreciated.

The most challenging thing I found driving in France was going round roundabouts the opposite way round to what I am used too.
Operating in South Northumberland and Weardale.

My wife had an issue a few years back. My in-laws lived in France for about 10yrs (Dordoign region?) and let my wife drive us in their car to a nearby town one day when we were over their visiting. She drove over a junction and turned into oncoming traffic. Luckily the cars were about 100yds away so the rest of us had time to scream for our lives for her to do a quick 3-point turn.

I had an old mate do exactly the same thing near Disney World in the US about 25 years back too and he didn't notice 4 lanes of cars barrelling towards us until I suggested he did a quick U-turn. Luckily there were no sheriffs around!
