How to control HMC253/HMC252 RF switch chip

Post by troffasky »

Quite a few of these around, I assume they're based on the reference design:

Use for this is switching between RX antennas in the loft, remotely. I have a Pi with a couple of SDRs connected, so I reckon I could drive it with that...probably?
Can't find much discussion of how these perform or how to use them.

Well, a quick look at the datasheet and how to drive them seems to be fairly obvious. Three inputs A,B,C different selections of high and low voltage select different inputs. Details in datasheet. https://www.analog.com/media/en/technic ... mc252A.pdf
