Must admit, I can't be arsed to go up in the loftshack tonight. Got too many films to try and get through on the Virgin box before my wife starts deleting them.

I put out a few calls from my QTH but nothing :(
I even had a new vertical on the chimmel useful for occasions such as this . It works really well on 27Mhz and there is also the advantage of height

I see plenty of cars with a CB antenna but never hear anyone on there .

Plenty of openings into Europe during the day but this seems to be the only time . More is the pity :(

Great night here with around 20 stations on channel 39. Looking forward to the big 40 next year.

Put a few calls on both uk & eu ssb zip, zilch,nada, nothing.
I have my doubts the cb band exists anymore in Kidderminster.

Because back then we had nothing and now we have much. Same reason for steam and VHS, they had their time.
