I have some old Tait boards in the loft, they had plasticy cases which I assumed were series 1 and the ones I have now in metal cases were series 2's.
Looks like I might be wrong, how do you tell which is which?
If you can tell me the board part number that would help me in identifying it, if I've got one you're welcome to have it for free.

The series 1's have rounded rectangular buttons. The series 2's have sort-of triangular ones (and vents below the windscreen...).

Thanks for the info. I did a search earlier on Ebay for Tait radios to see if I could identify the different models.
I think most of the ones I have in the attic are 500 series. Tbh there could be untold treasures up there. I used to have a workbench there but over the years it's been the place to dump stuff, ,chairs, tables, toys you name it. I really must get round to sorting it out.

I don't suppose you have a spare board knocking about that I can buy from you for a Tait series II T2010/15
I'll have a look what's in the loft later if I get a chance. Is it the logic board you want?

Yup the plasticy rigs in the attic were 500 series Taits, but I brought one down to examine more closely and it has a MC145152 PLL. Yay! a parallel programmed one. There's some sort of diode matrix board to program channels.
I know exactly what I'm gonna do with it if it still works. Remove the crappy plastic case, remove the programming diode board, put it in a larger case, maybe a CB one, use a CB channel switch connected to an eprom to give 40 channels and a rotary switch to select more bands of 40, as many as I can get. Maybe a frequency readout as well. I'm a happy bunny I love building stuff!

And Mr Werthers I think I might have what you need. Board part number is 2220-01377-05 it's similar to the board in your first picture same shape, indents in the same place and the 3 ribbon cables you have connected look like they connect to the same place on this board. It appears in mint condition. Also on the board it says T2010/15 II. Any good for you?

What a great guy you are Alucard!
I'm stuck on hold with a call to Egay atm. If I miss you this evening and the board is the one you want pm me your address and I'll whack it in the post tomorrow.

Went up in the attic again today this time climbed over the junk and made it to my workbench, pleasantly surprised to find 2 Cobra 148s some more Taits, a Tait power supply a load of Maxon pmrs and a a couple of Motorolas.
Also 3 or 4 BBC Micros, ZX80 and 81 and a box of old Sega games. Pretty sure there's an Acorn Atom up there but I couldn't find it. No sign of my Eprom programmer either :(
Still lots of Tait spares if anyone needs them :)
