BBC/ITN cleanfeed tx

Post by ranger »

Anyone know if the BBC/ITN still broadcast clean feed transmissions in the uhf band,
looking for the frequencies in use if they haven't all gone digital now?

thanks.

The BBC can be heard on 442.275. It's generally quite dull.

ITN on 442.43125MHz and 140.99375MHz. BBC Radio on 467.26875. All have continuous repeating messages but rarely actually used as far as I can hear.

Am looking for sound gallery for BBC News Spotlight SW. Anyone have anything from them in the past? Thanks all 😉

All still analogue but of course short range. Only useful when the OB is within a few miles. The BBC larger vehicles further afield use local UHF comms, but the studio links are in the sat multi. The 140-142 band seems still functional and local radio still find it handy IF they have one of the old radio vans. Most got sold off. Odd a 30 year old system is still actually wired
