Hello my name is Jon, have been using ham radio for a couple of years now and thought I would try out the 11m band.
Have no equipment as yet, still scouring you tube and internet for advice and bargain, but would like a call sign ready for when I get rig sorted.

Welcome Jon, 11m hasn't been amazing this year so far, its been rather poor from what I have seen, I havent even worked it much since I returned to radio. Hoping that it picks up soon.

what type of 11m work were you looking to do? Just FM local chat or some SSB DX work? I am sure you;re familiar with both in a more-formal capacity on the HAM Bans. What budget have you got for an 11M radio (did you get much change fro the Yaesu purchase? haha) and does it need to be a legal one?

As for callsigns, You need to request this in another thread, but I'll sort it out for you now and let you know what it is
