So is that what everyone uses now? Do you know if people use that on 11m too?

On 11m I heard ROS and SSTV, not PSK for a long time.

Been hearing some PSK during the recent lifts on 27mhz also on 26. Cant seem to get the essex ham decoder software to work though, just keeps giving me garbage. :)

I will keep trying for sure, the worrying thing is I am not even seeing any PSK31 down on the HAM bands. Hopefully its just software and rustyness on my side. Will keep at it and try another app maybe

Looking at the FT8 reports on FT8 it certainly looks like thats what the majority are using. I am optimistic that there are quite a few users of ROS on 11m though, which is very encouraging :-)

Things have moved on a little... Old RoS freq 27.245 now used for js8call... Google it we have our own FB page too... We experiment with psksim31 and rarely FT8 on 245 and 27.500... Were on the reporter map.. Qrp / dx... Its a niche operation.. Was cool and intriging in the last year or so with little prop... But getting busy and quite easy... Mediocre or next to no prop needed so you can spot something most days, if not every day... Sofftware still being developed so different speeds and features regularly.... Id like packet at 300 baud if you did that... 😜
looking for propagation for 2013 and beyond... Operating close to the Edge....
of reason......and the Quantocks...
Didi modes (JS8 on 27.245 usb) txt messages via radio lol at minus- 10 to 20 db..... 😊 See FB page...

I have mentioned in a few other threads that I have been using JS8Call this week. I think I have actually seen you on the reporter. Have you tried JS8Call or just sticking with FT8?

Hopefully get you in the log at some stage :-)

Yes Ive seen you too... Busy er at weekends for everyone and watch the map in Allmode + 11 most op, s do both.. Its hard to tell at the moment when we will connect due to weird skip but we only need 10/20 % of voice to make the trip... You can leave a message (small) with a 14 div station say for me... Using js8.. Kind of like the old mailbox feature in packet... Have a try.. See you soon..
