R.E.A.C.T. UK 27/81

Post by McVicar »

Hi Guys, as you've probably read my previous reply post I thought i'd better post a new topic for those UK cb'ers on the (muppet)channels back when our legal FM rigs were in full flow 82-88 for me anyway, a short span but a period of enjoyment away from normal everyday goings on that's when I joined our local R E A C T team who monitored channel 9 for any emergency be it vehicle or water based then report it to the appropriate services just to be on the safe side and to get help to those involved a bit quicker. Were there any other counties in the UK that did this?

There was quite an active R.E.A.C.T. group in the channel islands, I managed to save quite a lot of info/magazines about it from work a few years ago.
