Re: Antenna Identification help needed please...
Hello PeterA I had an antenna that looked like that many years ago. It was a fiberglass antenna. I think it was a 7/8 wave if memory serves and it was made by sirio. Along the same lines as the DV 27 tuning wise. I got lots of contacts on mine. I had it hanging off of the branch of a tree about thirty or so feet.

A Lemm I had and the Sirio Signal Keeper had a different central boss to that one, although they've probably changed the design may times over the years.
One thing we do know is it's missing all of its legs

Exactly like that one, I borrowed the sellers pics... I'm trying to find all the bits for mine from back in the day.NightProwler wrote: ↑22 May 2020, 21:47 A bit like this one

So far, I've only managed to find... the boss and the stand off bracket!
I can't find the original antenna, groundplane legs or the tank whip I used with the boss I modified?
I could have sworn I last saw them in the shed...
but no, now I actually want them... vanished into the abyss!?!

I had one exactly the same which I bought years ago when I lived in a high rise flat, Had it on the balcony. I gave it away to our very own Buick Mackane on here. I think he used it to support his 'tomato' plants

Re: Antenna Identification help needed please...
Perhaps you could post up a couple of pictures of the stand off bracket, would give those of us that have the antenna but not the bracket to see what to look out for.NightProwler wrote: ↑22 May 2020, 23:07 Im sure I still got the original stand off bracket that came with it too as Buick didnt want it.
