What you need is one of the radios in the below picture to make it a good one. Its the top row, the radio second in from the right. If you haven't got one of those beauties, then go and get one on ebay immediately! ;)
I'll show you a collection one day! :D

C'mon then Dave, we're all waiting with baited breath ;)

The Magpie Autoscan was a pile of junk, There was a reason why only so many were made and a reason why there are not so many around now, Just like most things British it was poorly made and performed awfully and they ended up scrapped or in a landfill where they belong.

Only joking :) , I own a Magpie myself now and although there is not much on around here it does have a very nice RX on them, Before a few days ago i had never owned one or even had one in my possession, I wonder how many will scroll down this far to read that i wasn't being serious above.

Edgar2018 wrote: 05 Jul 2019, 15:25 well now.. no one will ever know if it was a dig at the collectors who appreciate the radio as part of our hobbies history. As the dolphins toss the remaining seal cubs back onto the beach after feeding... friendly to seals ? no... just keep them thinking the dolphins are friends...
I think it is fairly obvious i was just messing around, Jeez!
