Anytone AT6666 microphone wiring
Just aquired one over the weekend but hate the standard mic. Can anyone tell me if the 6pin wiring is the same as the Lincoln/Grant 2. Are there also any live pins on there that i need to look out for too. Thanks for any information.

The Anytone 6666 is the same wiring as the Grant 2, Lincoln2, CRE8900, Alinco 135, Maxlog 8800/8900 etc.
Never, ever, ever....bloody anything ever!

Can't fault the one I have here (SS-9900 badged version). Sounds very well with a budget K-PO NM532 power mic on it.

It's not a bad radio especially now with a power mike. Ideal for going mobile

Re: Anytone AT6666 microphone wiring
Does anyone know if it is ok to tie the source lead from the electret together with the transmit wire so they both connect to the shield or common wire when the button is depressed? I have the drain lead from the electret connecting to the audio wire when the button is depressed on another circuit.
I seem to have a sporadic feedback issue that mysteriously materialized after the microphone worked great for several weeks.

I fixed the problem. I put a .1 microfarad capacitor between the audio wire and the shield wire.
