Just thought I'd tell this little story from a few years back - it's Magpie related...ish.

Years ago, before I moved down from Birmingham to Bristol, my then Bristolian girlfriend started working for the Old Bill. We used to converse about this and that via email when she had a quiet moment. During our messages, the subject had turned somehow to animals, like "I like dogs, not so keen on cats.." etc, but I said I like most animals except Magpies, as they were always killing the baby birds in their nests where I lived. The police system's bot's sent back an automated message saying it had blocked my message, stating the words Animal Sex were not acceptable! My girlfriend had a similar message warning her of a intercepted unacceptable or offensive message. She phoned me and asked what the hell I'd sent as I was sat there scratching my head. I re-read my sent email and realised the bot had taken the word "Animals", but then added the first two letters from the next word "except"!

Ooh, we did laugh, but she seriously thought she was going to get into trouble.

My number 0 is the best though. Someone stole it (it might have been a Magpie bird as the radios are a bit shiney ;) ) off the workbench before it had chance to have the number 1 sticker stuck on it ;)

Offers over a gazillion pounds for it will do nicely.
