Made in my home town.( Andover Hampshire) I knew about the maker as when joining CB in 1981 i called myself Magpie & got told off big time immediately. Changed handle to Black Rabbit & the rest is history.

Ha ha....temptation eh ;) It's got to be worth at least a gazillion pounds and 2 bags of Worther's Originals for no.1.

I quickly had a look at the instruction manual of my serial no."0" hoping it'd have a serial number stuck on that, but no luck.

Not quite number one but I have here number 110408 and it's in stunning condition with no writing worn off the front like most I see. I got some paper work/mic wirings for it so I will scan them and upload them if they are any use to anyone?

Good idea. They'll always come in handy for members/visitors, so thanks for that in advance.

That's clearly not no.1 as there were 110,000 built before that one lol ;)

Joking aside, does anyone know what the '11' at the beginning denotes???
